Who we are.

We are a group of friends who, each in our own way, woke up to the urgency of what's happening out there. None of us does "climate" professionally. We care about lots of different things in our lives - education, farming, justice, economic opportunity, spirituality, our kids, you name it...  All those things we care about, we now know it's going to be much harder to make them happen if we don't address the elephant in the room - how things will unravel if we let the climate and environmental crisis spin out of control.

We are a group of friends, in our 20s, 30s, 40s, in the US and in Europe. Each in our different ways, we woke up to this crisis, and decided to create something simple and powerful to talk about it. 

Frederic is a former business consultant whose decided to trade time in airplanes for time at home with his family. 

Helene has done more things than we have space for here. Advertising. Doula. Therapy. Writing. Pottery. Grief work. 

David, Nick & Mia are film makers, all-round creatives and will shoot the films for ​The Week with a whole team of colleagues in the US and Europe.

Jason is helping black and brown founders find their voice through his knack for strategy and branding. 

Leila & Pauline have an amazing experience in community building and their entrepreneurial drive is impressive. They will co-lead the Activation and Community team for The Week.

Shawn keeps pushing us to refine our scripts to The Week​ even when we feel we are done. He is right so often it's annoying. 

​Jenna is working with teens in prison and has invited more groups to The Week than anyone else to date. 

What's our agenda? 

We have no political agenda - we are so different we would never agree on one! - other than a livable future for us and our children and everyone else.

​We are not scientists, but obviously we made it a point of pride that everything we share in the episodes is based on solid science and have a scientist who has helped us check it all.

Please contact us if you know someone who would be able to make a significant (tax deductible) donation. Because, no breaking news here... making movies is expensive.
